Zara Investment Holding opened the Dead Sea Movenpick Spa and Resorts in 1999 in at the shore of the Dead Sea, the lowest location on earth. Condé Nast classified it one of the best tourists resorts in the world for years.

The Dead Sea Movenpick resort is one of the biggest in the Middle East; it's known for providing medical services using the natural products of the dead sea which are used to cure many diseases. It includes 362 rooms and many others facilities including 9 restaurants. This hotel is one of the first in the region that utilizes the environment-friendly solar heating systems.[1]
