Mughirah, Mughira or Muggeera (Arabic: المغيرة بن عبد الله) (full name: al-Mughira ibn Abd-Allah ibn Umar ibnn Makhzum ibn Yaqaza ibn Murrah) was one of the Leaders of Quraish from Banu Makhzum tribe.

His sons were

  1. Abu Umaiyya ibn al-Mughirah: Father of Umm Salama
  2. Hisham ibn al-Mughirah: Father of Abu Jahl
  3. Fakiha (married to Hind bint 'Utbah before her marriage to Abu Sufyan ibn Harb
  4. Abu Rabi'ah: Father of 'Aiyyash ibn Abu Rabi'ah
  5. Walid ibn al-Mughira: Father of Khalid ibn Walid
  6. 'Abdullah: Father of 'Uthmān
  7. 'Abd Shams
  8. Azwār: Father of Ḍirār & Khawla
  9. Hafs
  10. It is unclear whether he was related to Abu Hudhaifah ibn al-Mughirah.

His brothers were Asad (Abu Jundub), 'Ābid and Hilāl.
