Mughirah, Mughira or Muggeera (Arabic: المغيرة بن عبد الله) (full name: al-Mughira ibn Abd-Allah ibn Umar ibnn Makhzum ibn Yaqaza ibn Murrah) was one of the Leaders of Quraish from Banu Makhzum tribe.

Family

He was children of Abdullah ibn Umar, not Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Khattab and Qayla bint Amir

He married Qutayla bint Nadr ibn Al-Harith ibn Kalada.

  3. Fakiha (married to Hind bint 'Utbah before her marriage to Abu Sufyan ibn Harb

  5. Walid ibn al-Mughira: Father of Khalid ibn Walid
  6. 'Abdullah: Father of 'Uthmān
  7. 'Abd Shams
  8. Azwār: Father of Ḍirār & Khawla
  9. Ḥafṣ ibn Al-Mughīra
  10. It is unclear whether he was related to Abu Hudhaifah ibn al-Mughirah.

His brothers were Asad (Abu Jundub), 'Ābid and Hilāl.
