Muidhara(muidhara.net) is a village situated in south Burdwan, with a population of 2000. Muidhara has a very famous record in terms of culture, education, and sports. The literacy rate is about 85%, and there is a brotherhood relationship in between the people of the village.

Muidhara has its own library, club (Muidhara Kishore Sangha), primary school, playground, kali mandir, Shiv Mandir. Pirer Mela is very familiar in dakshin Damodar and it was organized in every year 1st Magh (Bengali date) in southern part of this village.
