Muricopsis principensis is a species of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusks in the family Muricidae, the rock snails.[2]

This species is endemic to São Tomé and Príncipe and is founded only on the island of Príncipe in which the last form of the scientific name as named after, the island of where the type of species are founded.
