Myke Hideous is an American gothic rock singer who created The Empire Hideous and performed with Bronx Casket Company, Spy Society 99, and the Misfits.

Before joining The Misfits, Myke released a 1994 solo album called Out Of Anger and sang for The Empire Hideous. Myke joined the Misfits in 1998 when Michale Graves took an indefinite hiatus because he did not want to go on an extensive tour outside the USA. Myke did vocals at all shows on the Europe and South America tours that summer, but Graves returned to the band later that year after the tour was completed. Myke later sang for Spy Society 99 and The Bronx Casket Co. Previously, Myke had auditioned for the lead singer position in Kryst the Conqueror in 1987, and the Misfits' original reformation in 1995, losing out to Jeff Scott Soto and Michale Graves, respectively.

In 1996, Mark Steiner's documentary film "To Build an Empire" [1] was released, telling the story of Empire Hideous with a sense of humor.

At the beginning of 2011, Myke released his final "Empire Hideous" - record - "The Time Has Come" and also appears in the Documentary "Living the American Nightmare: the Story of a Rockstar". This documentary features Myke Hideous as the main center-piece, telling the story of living a rock-star-life.

Myke released the cover song, Moving in Stereo, by The Cars as a free download on his website to commemorate the loss of Peter Steele as it was one of Peter Steele' favorite songs.[2]

Myke has a published biography entitled King of an Empire to the Shoes of a Misfit. [3]
