The National Sports Council (NSC) is the national overseer of the control authorities of 41 different sports in Bangladesh. It is responsible to the Ministry of Sports in the national government, based in Dhaka.[1][2][3]

History

After the independence of Bangladesh the Bangladesh Sports Control Board was formed in 1972. This was later turned into National Sports Council.[4]
