Syed Nawab Haider Naqvi is a noted Pakistani economist and scholar.
Educational qualifications
Naqvi was born in Maraith, in 1935. He migrated to Karachi, Pakistan in 1950.[citation needed]
He received his master's degree from Yale University in 1961 and his doctorate from Princeton University in 1966. He was a post-doctoral research fellow at Harvard University from 1969–1970.[1] Naqvi has served as the director of the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, and, until recently,[when?] senior economic advisor for the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) and Rector (Designate) of Kausar University of Sciences, Islamabad.
