Ndzalama Reserve

'Ndzalama Wildlife Reserveis an 8000 ha wildlife reserve in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Situated in the Valley of the Olifants. Located ± 55 km outside Tzaneen and ± 80 km outside Phalaborwa; Kruger National Park.

It is home to four of the Big 5: Elephant, Lion, Rhino and Leopard; the rare Sable antelope etc. It's a birders' paradise!

Self-catering accommodation. Brunch and dinner available on request at the Lodge (for 4 or more people)

NDZALAMA LODGE: - 6 luxurious stone and thatch chalets with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, out-door shower, private veranda etc. - children (under 12yr) are welcome to sleep with their parents in their chalet @ R100/child/night (extra mattresses and bedding are provided) - coffee/tea in chalets - big, fully equipped, communal kitchen in main building (walk-in fridge and -freezer, ice machine etc.) - communal braai facilities (main building) - swimmingpool - TV with DSTV decoder available in the main building (own smart card has to be provided) - guide in camp to do dishes, make fire etc. - you can either use your own vehicle to drive sround (not necessarily 4x4, but a normal car won't be able to drive around) - or go on a game drive in an open game drive vehicle, ± 3 hours, not informative

LEOPARD ROCK BUSH CAMP: - sleeping maximum 12 people (children included) - no electricity, no linen provided (only beds and mattresses) - 4 rooms sleeping 2p each and 1 room sleeping 4 people - 2 communal toilets and -showers (with running hot water) - kitchen with gas stove, -fridge and -freezer (cutlery and crockery provided) - splash pool - guide in camp to clean, make fire etc. - paraffin lamps and 2 gas lamps provided

The camps are not fenced off and there are dangerous wild animals (i.e. Lions, Elephant etc.) roaming around freely. Your enter at your own risk.
