Nemanja Belić (Serbian Cyrillic: Немања Белић; born April 24, 1987 in Belgrade) is a Serbian goalkeeper who plays for Metalac Gornji Milanovac in the Serbian SuperLiga.[1]

Career

Like most footballers from Obrenovac, he started at "Čika Arsa's football school" coached by Miodrag Arsović - Arsa. Although his original position on the field was defensive midfielder, the position of the goalkeeper moved accidentally during team preparation with the older generation on Rudnik, the goalkeeper was injured and Belić stayed on goal to replace him, because he was youngest. He was keeping very well and he hasn't moved from goal since that time. He even declared the best goalkeeper of the tournament, which is then played on the mountain. After a brief stay in Radnički Obrenovac, he went to OFK Beograd juniors, the club where he spent ten years. As a youngster he was loaned to Red Star, and then returned to Karaburma. However, as a team member, not to receive a lot of confidence, after annealing at Palilulac and Sopot, returned to the talented team Radnički Obrenovac, but for two and a half years, he failed to qualify for the higher rank, for many reasons that have nothing to do with football. Beginning of 2012, he received a call from coach of football club Donji Srem, Bogić Bogicević, who was a goalkeeper too, and recognized the Belić's potential.

The first year the club is often a more experienced backup for Dragan Starčević, but next season, debut in Jelen SuperLiga for Donji Srem, Belić received more time on the goal and started to goalkeeping standardly.[2][3]
