Neotibicen linnei, commonly called Linne's cicada, is a species of large bodied annual cicada in the genus Neotibicen. It is native to the Eastern United States and Canada.[1]

Another photo of a cicada during the beginning of August 2017 within far northeastern Ohio along the Pennsylvania border, using fill flash for showing detail within darker areas of the insect.
