Network media refers exclusively to the communication channels used to interconnect device (nodes) on a computer network or data communications network. This term should not be confused with terms like networked media or digital media.
Typical examples of network media include copper Coaxial_cable, copper Twisted_pair cables and fibre optic cables used in "wired" networks, and radio frequency waves used in wireless data communications networks.
