New York's 6th State Senate district is one of 63 districts of the New York State Senate. It is currently represented by Kemp Hannon (R). Senator Hannon was first elected in 1989 and serves as Senate Health Committee's chairman.[1]

Geography

District 6 covers a portion of Nassau County, including the towns of Levittown, Hempstead, and Garden City.[2]
