New York's 8th State Senate district is one of 63 districts of the New York State Senate. It is currently represented by John Brooks (D). Senator Brooks was first elected in 2016, defeating incumbent Michael Venditto.[1]

Geography

District 8 covers a portion of eastern Nassau County and western Suffolk County.[2]
