Newsham is a village and civil parish in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England. Newsham has a village hall and a village green, on which an annual carnival takes place in May/June.[2]

Newsham is part of the electoral ward of Newsham with Eppleby. This ward had a total population at the 2011 census of 1,309.[3]
