Koprivica was admitted to the Catholic Church's Order of St. Gregory the Great in 1926.[2] He was a member of the Brethren of the Croatian Dragon and held the title of Dragon of Cavtat within the organization.[3] Koprivice was selected by the city council to be mayor on October 13, 1944.[2] Koprivica was killed by Yugoslav Partisans on October 25, 1944.

He was finally buried on October 10, 2008 after a funeral mass at the Assumption Cathedral in Dubrovnik.[2]
