Nim Dorjee Tamang (born 30 October 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Shillong Lajong in the I-League.

Career

Born in Melli, Sikkim,[2] Tamang started his career at the Namchi Sports Hostel in Sikkim before joining the Air Force Academy in 2009.[3] After playing with the India national under-16 set-up, he joined Shillong Lajong at the youth level.[3]

After a successful season in the Shillong Premier League, Tamang was called up to the Shillong Lajong first-team for the Federation Cup.[4] He made his professional debut on the first match-day against Pune on 29 December 2014. He started the match as Shillong Lajong fell 1–3.[5]

International

Tamang has represented India at the under-14, under-16, and under-19 levels. With the under-19 side he was selected to join the team for a trip to China and in the AFC U-19 Championship.[3][6]
