Nir District

Nir District (Persian: بخش نیر) is a district (bakhsh) in Taft County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 14,531, in 4,417 families.[1] The District has one city: Nir. The District has five rural districts (dehestan): Banadkuk Rural District, Garizat Rural District, Kahduiyeh Rural District, Sakhvid Rural District, and Zardeyn Rural District.
