Noboru Kohara (小原 昇, Kohara Noboru, born July 22, 1983) is a former Japanese football player.

Playing career

Kohara was born in Tondabayashi on July 22, 1983. He joined the J1 League club Kyoto Purple Sanga (later Kyoto Sanga FC) from the youth team in 2002. On October 12, he debuted as a substitute forward against the Urawa Reds.[1][2] However, he did not play in another match until 2003. Sanga was relegated to the J2 League at the end of the 2003 season and repeated its promotion to J1 and relegation to J2 after that. He played several matches in every season from 2004 onward. In July 2007, he moved to the Japan Football League club Tochigi SC and played many matches. He retired at the end of the 2007 season.
