North Port Passenger Terminal is a terminal located in Pier 4, Manila North Harbor, Port of Manila. On June 11, 2012, The Manila North Harbour Port Inc. hosted the groundbreaking ceremony of the terminal aimed to improve sea travel in the country.[2] On May 10, 2013, the south side if the terminal soft-opened to accommodate the passengers of 2GO Ferry.[1] It was formally opened on October 9, 2013. It can accommodate 2-3 million passengers per year greater than the old terminal which only supports about 1.5 million passengers.[3]

Facilities

The terminal has a total area of about 12,000 square meters including the main building, drop-off area, ticketing booths, and a 2,000 square meter parking area. It features X-ray scanning area, luggage check-in area and has about 2,000 seating capacity. It has also extended facility required to handle 5 vessels at any time.[4]

Port Calls

Because of its new passenger terminal, the facility could now accommodate larger ships. On November 2, 2013, MV SuperStar Aquarius arrived on the Terminal, showcasing the port's redesigned and renovated facilities.

On January 9, 2014, MV Costa Victoria of Costa Cruises, carrying a total of 1,775 passengers, made its maiden call on the Terminal.[5]
