Oceans Ate Alaska are a British metalcore band from Birmingham, England, formed in 2011.
History
Oceans Ate Alaska signed to Density Records in 2012, a year after their formation in 2011. They have released two EPs with the label.[2] In 2014, the band signed to Fearless Records.[3] The band was featured on Fearless Records' compilation album Punk Goes Pop 6, covering "Drunk in Love" by Beyoncé.[4][5]
On October 7, 2014 the band released a new song "Blood Brothers",[6] on January 6, 2015, the band released the second single "Floorboards", announcing the release of their debut album Lost Isles for February 24, 2015.[7]
On January 26, 2015, the band released the music video for the third single "Vultures and Sharks".[8]
