Oleh Rybachuk

Oleg Rybachuk (* 22 April 1958, Pohrebyshche, Vinnytsia Oblast) — Ukrainian politician and public figure.

Education

He received education English and French language at the Faculty of Philology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (1975-1980). Second Higher Education — Faculty of Finance and Credit Kyiv National Economic University (1993-1996), qualification — economist.[1] In 1997, he studied in schools Foreign Service, Georgetown University (USA).

Career

Experience Senior Inspector of Customs of Kiev from 1980 until 1986. From 1986 to 1991 — Translation from English WTO "Zakordonnaftobud" in the Republic of India.

1992 — Head of FX transactions Kiev stock commercial bank exchange "Kyyivbirzhbank". From 1992 to 1999 — Head of External Relations, Head of International Banking Relations, Director of International Affairs of the National Bank of Ukraine.

In 1999-2001 — Head of the Service of Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Years 2001-2002 — Vice-President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (Thessaloniki, Greece).[1]

From April 2002 to March 2005 — MP of the electoral bloc "Our Ukraine".[1]

4 February — 7 September 2005 — Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine on European Integration.[1]

7 September 2005 — 16 September 2006 — Secretary of State[2] and head of Ukraine's Presidential Secretariat of Ukraine. Secretary of the Political Council under the President of Ukraine (May — October 2006). Member of the National Security Council (October 2005 — September 2006).

Advisor to the President of Ukraine in September 2006. Adviser to the President (out of state) by December 2007. Fired from a counselor to 4 March 2008. 27 March 2008 Yushchenko dismissed from his post as member of the Supervisory Board of Sberbank.

In December 2008 he became a member of the supervisory board of "Arcelor Mittal Krivoy Rog".

From March 2008 — Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation "Community". Supervises projects for European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Develop initiatives to promote and strengthen civil society in Ukraine.

2009 — founder and head of the NGO "Centre UA", one of the initiators of the civil campaign "New Citizen".[3]
