Olena Serhiyivna Sotnyk (Template:Lang-uk, born 21 December 1982)[1] is a Ukrainian politician and lawyer. Appearing 11th on the party list of Self Reliance, she was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in the October 2014 Ukrainian parliamentary election.[1]

In addition to her role in parliament, Sotnyk has been serving as member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 2015. As member of Self Reliance, she currently serves as vice-chairwoman of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe group. She is a member of the Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights, the Sub-Committee on the implementation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy and the Sub-Committee on External Relations.

Born in Kiev,[2] Sotnyk worked as a lawyer specializing in corporate and criminal law before turning to politics.[3][4]
