"On Days Like These"
Song

"On Days Like These" is a song originally recorded by English singer Matt Monro, with music by Quincy Jones and lyrics by Don Black. It was written in 1969 for the British caper film The Italian Job, where it is played prominently in the opening credits, uninterrupted by background soundscape. The recording was produced by George Martin. Despite never charting either in the USA or the UK, the ballad went on to become one of his most famous songs. It was later recorded by Alexander Armstrong on his album A Year of Songs in 2015.
