After Patrik Schick suffered an injury in early 2022, Lingr was one of the players that received his first senior call-up for the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off against Sweden[8] and a friendly match against Wales.[9] Lingr made his debut against the former, coming off a substitute.[10]

He is selected from the list of 26 Czech players of the Ivan Hašek coach to participate in UEFA Euro 2024.[11] Replacing all matches (Portugal, Turkey and Georgia), he will be eliminated with his team from the first round.
