Onihei Hankachō (鬼平犯科帳) is a Japanese television jidaigeki or period drama[1] that was broadcast from 1989 to 2016. It is based on Shōtarō Ikenami's novel of the same title. Kichiemon Nakamura plays Heizō Hasegawa.
