"Ooh La La"
Song

"Ooh La La" is a song by English electronic music duo The Wiseguys, from their second album The Antidote. First released as a single in 1998, it only managed a peak of #55 on the UK Singles Chart, but a re-release the following year proved highly successful after its inclusion in a Budweiser advertisement, this time reaching #2 on the UK chart.[2][3][4]

Composition

The song has a BPM of 124.[5] It samples "Jim on the Move" by Lalo Schifrin.[6]

Music video

A music video for the video was released, set at an airport and featuring scantily-clad dancers.[7]

Commercial performance

Initially, the song reached number 55 on the UK Singles Chart. Upon its re-release for its use in the beer advertisement, however, it re-entered the chart, going to number 2.[4] The song spent a total of 14 weeks on the chart.[2] "Ooh La La" also charted on the Mexico Ingles Airplay chart.[8]
