Open Invitation is the fifth studio album by American R&B recording artist Tyrese, which was released on November 1, 2011, by his label Voltron Recordz and distributed by EMI. The album received a nomination for Best R&B Album at the 55th Grammy Awards, presented on February 10, 2013.

Singles

The album's lead single was "Stay". It was released in the United States for digital download on August 16, 2011.[1] It peaked on the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at number eleven.[2] "Too Easy", which features Ludacris, was released as the second single on August 30, 2011.[3] The music video was released on October 12, 2011. The third single "Nothing On You" peaked on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at #61.[4]

Commercial performance

The album debuted at number nine on the U.S. Billboard 200 with 76,000 copies sold in its first week of release making it Tyrese's highest charting album to date at that time.[6] In the second week the album sold 33,000 copies making total sales of 110,000 copies.[7] In its third week the album sold 21,100 copies, bringing the total to 130,700 copies.[8] The album has sold 375,000 copies in the US as of June 2015.[9]
