Orentius was one of seven brothers, which included Cyriacus, Firminus, Firmus, Heros, Longinus, and Pharnacius. They were all soldiers in the Roman Army, who lost their positions for being Christians. They all suffered martyrdom, during the persecutions of co-Emperor Maximian.[1]
