Oreochromis jipe, the Jipe tilapia, is a species of cichlid native to Kenya and Tanzania, where it occurs in Lake Jipe and the Pangani River. This species can reach a standard length of 50 cm (20 in). This species is important to local commercial fisheries.[2]
