Pęczniew [ˈpɛnt͡ʂɲɛf] is a village in Poddębice County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Pęczniew. It lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) south-west of Poddębice and 51 km (32 mi) west of the regional capital Łódź.[1]

The village has a population of 830.
