P.V. Anvar is an Indian politician and the current MLA of Nilambur, Kerala.[1] He was born in Edavanna, Malappuram district on 26 May 1967 as third son of P.V. Shoukath Ali and Mariyumma. Puthanveettil family is one of the ancient families of Malabar which was very close to Indian National Congress from the great struggle of independence on. P.V. Anvar was attracted by the same ideology. He completed his schooling from Malabar Christian College School, Kozhikode and moved to DGM MES Mampad College where he did his graduation in Economics. He was the college union chairman during his period. He contested from Ernad Constituency as an independent candidate and came second in the run in the assembly elections 2011.[2]
Entrepreneur
P.V. Anvar is the Proprietor of PeeVeeaaR Developers and PeeVeeaaR Constructions, that owns the Metro Village Manjeri, the largest ever township of Kerala.[3] He is also the Chairman of Benchmarks International School, Manjeri and Iqraa Islamic School, Edavanna.
Personal life
P.V. Anvar is married to Sheeja and they have three daughters and a son.
