The Padam are a sub-group of the Adi people of Arunachal Pradesh, comprising major clans such as Borang, Pertin, Ratan , Perme, Tayeng etc. This indigenous land is prospered by the Yamne river flowing through the valley. Although, it routes to almost 70 kilometers from Pasighat, it resides in Upper Siang district.
