Pakuan University (UNPAK) is the oldest and biggest private university in Bogor.[citation needed] It was established on 1 November 1980 under the Foundation Pakuan Siliwangi. Pakuan University is located at Jl. Pakuan PO BOX 452, Bogor. In the academic year 2012/2013, UNPAK offered 32 programs of study. Dr. Bibin Rubini, MPd has been the rector of UNPAK since elected in 2008.
Structure
Pakuan University has 6 faculties:
- Faculty of Law
- Faculty of Economics
- Faculty of Teacher Training & Education
- Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities
- Faculty of Engineering
- Faculty of Mathematics & Natural Sciences
Particularly, the Faculty of Social Science & Humanities has four departments;
- Indonesia Literature
- English Literature
- Japanese Literature
- Communication Science
Whilst, the communication science has four concentrations:
- Public Relations
- Communication Management
- Journalism
- Broadcasting
