Pedro Bromfman (born 20 January 1976) is a Brazilian musician, film composer and music producer. He is known for having scored Elite Squad and Elite Squad 2, the highest grossing film in Brazil's box office history.[1] Most recently, he composed the music for the Netflix series, Narcos.

Life and career

Bromfman was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where he was introduced to music at a young age. Later, he moved to Boston and graduated Magnum cum Laude from Berklee College of Music before moving to California to study film music at UCLA . Pedro started his career composing for commercials and trailers where he learned how to quickly turn around music and to stick with his instincts. Before Pedro started composing for films, he worked as a session musician and music producer.[2]
