He was tagged for a three-run home run by Cody Ross in the bottom of the third inning and the bottom of the 4th inning, and was relieved by Hector Santiago in the bottom of the 5th inning, picking up the loss.[3]

Minnesota Twins

On July 28, 2012, Hernández was traded to the Minnesota Twins with Eduardo Escobar for Francisco Liriano.[4] He was outrighted off the roster on October 25, 2013.

Colorado Rockies

Hernández signed a minor league deal with the Colorado Rockies on November 15, 2013.[5] He was designated for assignment on August 2, 2014.[6]

Rieleros de Aguascalientes

On February 26, 2016, Hernández signed with the Rieleros de Aguascalientes of the Mexican Baseball League. He was released on June 30, 2016.
