Pensacolops is a genus of jumping spiders that occurs in Brazil. As of 2017, it contains only one species, Pensacolops rubrovittata.[1]

Name

The genus name is derived from the salticid genus Pensacola and the Greek root -ops "to look like". The species name is from Latin rubrus "red" and vittatus "striped".[citation needed]
