Peredur Wyn ap Gwynedd is a Welsh guitarist. He was born and raised in South Wales and currently resides in London. His brother, Rheinallt ap Gwynedd, was the bassist for the band Apollo 440 and his sister, Llinor ap Gwynedd, is an actress.
Ap Gwynedd was a judge on Welsh talent show "Waw Ffactor"[2] having been the guitarist with acts such as Natalie Imbruglia, Norman Cook, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Mylène Farmer. In 2006 he joined Pendulum, with whom he had recently worked on their song 'Girl in the Fire'. Peredur was one of the main writers on the song Comprachicos off Pendulum's latest album Immersion. As of June 2012[update] Peredur is touring with Tinie Tempah because Pendulum is on a hiatus.
Ap Gwynedd performed on songs from Pendulum's In Silico and Immersion albums.
Whilst performing with Pendulum, ap Gwynedd mainly uses Peavey guitars, primarily the HP Signature Series model. He has said in an interview that he uses Native Instruments Guitar Rig, software effects processor, to assist in emulating synthetic sounds when performing live shows.
