Peter B. Beaumont (November 1935 - 31 August 2016 Kimberley) was a South African archaeologist noted for his excavation and finds at Wonderwerk Cave, Kathu, Canteen Kopje and Border Cave, all in South Africa. [1]

He started work under Raymond Dart of the Bernard Price Institute for Palaeontological Research at Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg.
