Pharaquta (Aymara phara dry,[1] quta lake,[2] "dry lake", Hispanicized spelling Paracota) is a lake in Peru located in the Tacna Region, Candarave Province, Candarave District.[3] It is situated at a height of about 4,512 metres (14,803 ft). Pharaquta lies between the larger lake Such'i in the northwest and the volcano Tutupaka in the south.
