Physiological Reports is a peer-reviewed open access online only scientific journal covering original research in all areas of physiology.[1] It is published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of The Physiological Society and the American Physiological Society.[1] The journal was established in 2013, with an editorial published on 27 March[2] and receptions at two international meetings, on 21 April at Experimental Biology 2013 in Boston, MA[3] and on 22 July at IUPS 2013 (the XXXVII International Congress of Physiological Sciences) in Birmingham, United Kingdom.[4] The editor-in-chief is Susan Wray (University of Liverpool).[5]
