Pirdad or Peered (Urdu/Hindko:....) is a Mohallah in Hazro, district Attock Punjab, Pakistan. The population consists of Muslims and languages include Hindko and Pashto. Pirdad's population is approximately 2,000, and literacy rate is about 65%. It produces a number of crops, wheat, maize and vegetables.

Notable people

There was a famous personality named Khan Sahib Muhammad Umar Khan who was from Mohallah Pirdad. He was a Superintendent of Police in Sindh Police before the partition of British India. He was one of the few Muslim officers in British Indian Police. He also awarded Sword of Owner by the Governor and conferred the title Khan Sahib by the British Empire,now a days there is famous police officer named DSP Shafqat Ali khan (islamabad police) his father was also a Sub inspector police Muhammed Aspeen Khan (Punjab Police).[1]
