Planview is an American software company founded in 1989 in Austin, Texas. The company specializes in project and resource management software development. It provides solution for Resources management, Financial Management, Team collaboration etc. In 2010, the company moved to the cloud to offer a software as a service (SaaS) services.[1] The company's eponymous flagship software is Planview Enterprise (Version 11 as of 2013), a project portfolio management application.[2]

History

The company was founded in 1989 in Austin, Texas by Patrick Durbin. In 1997, the company launched complete web based resource and portfolio management software.

Corporate governance

As of 2014, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Planview was Gregory S. Gilmore.[3]
