Pongi Varum Kaveri is a 1989 Tamil-language Indian feature film produced by Thru P.L.Palaniappan Chettiar and directed by T.K.Bose, starring Ramarajan in lead role.[1]. The film was produced by Manorama movies which is a production company based in Chennai. The music for the film was composed by Ragadevan Ilayaraja. Pongi Varum Kaveri is one of the 7 films in which Ramarajan teamed up with Gowthami which went on to become a hit leading pair in Tamil cinemas in the late 1980's.
