[edit]
Flying Scotsman at Carnforth in 1982 with original single chimney and without the later German-style smoke deflectors.

Quite a nice photograph of the Flying Scotsman in its most famous livery (although I personally prefer the BR green livery). I'm not sure if we've ever had a picture of it, either. The only problem is the slightly embarrassing name board. Bob talk 07:54, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

This is a good candidate, but I'd like to give other editors a chance to comment too. Slambo (Speak) 14:29, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Support from me. A gorgeous steam engine is always OK, regardless of silly name boards... ;) --Janke | Talk 05:09, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
