Praia Branca is a settlement in the northwestern part of the island of São Nicolau, Cape Verde. It is part of the municipality of Tarrafal de São Nicolau. It is situated 2 km from the coast, 10 km northwest of Ribeira Brava. It is also a beach in which it gives its name to the settlement.

Praia Branca is connected with a remote route which encircles the west of the island. Valleys dominate the area with cultivated land. Some forests cover the eastern portion. Its beach is in the northeast portion.

Singer Armando Zeferino Soares was native to Praia Branca.

Its football/soccer club is titled Futebol Clube Praia Branca, a beginner-level club which participates in the São Nicolau Island League.
