Prairie River is a hamlet in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Listed as a designated place by Statistics Canada, the hamlet had a population of 35 in the Canada 2006 Census.[1] The hamlet contains the Prairie River railway station now used to house the Prairie River Museum. Home of the Mayor of Rat Lake.
