Preyah-Eyrin-Comfort Rex Osassey (Template:Lang-bg, born 22 September 1994), known professionally as Preyah is a Bulgarian singer and songwriter mostly known from her songs with Grafa, Billy Hlapeto and Mihaela Fileva[1]
Early life
Preyah was born in Sofia in 1994. Her mother is Bulgarian and her father Nigerian. He died when she was a child. Her mother, Sabina, worked in Cyprus when Preyah was 13 years old, so she could pay the mortgage of their apartment.
Career
Early career
Preyah participated in a vocal group in her childhood. In 2011 she appears in the first season of Bulgarian X Factor, but made it only though the boot camp.[2] In 2013 she joined the show Musical Academy where she was eliminated in the semifinals, but the producers of the show, Monte Music, offered her a contract nevertheless.
2014–present: Debut single and first steps
Preyah's debut single with Billy Hlapeto Malkite Neshta become number one in Bulgarian TV air in the first week.[3] The original version of the song is Guilty Pleasure Store, which Preya performs with the group Smooth. They performed it on Spirit of Burgas in 2012. Her first individual single is Nyuansi, completed in early 2015.
