Professorial Lecturer is a title used for an academic expert and authority of a specific field in research. This terminology is used at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of The Johns Hopkins University, Washington DC.[1]

This terminology is also used, particularly at American University, George Washington University and Johns Hopkins, for the designation of a highly skilled person coming from administration to academics at any school in Washington DC.
