Ptilothyris aglaocrossa is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1935. It is found in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Katanga).[1][2]

The wingspan is about 21 mm. The forewings are dark purple-fuscous with a moderate triangular yellow spot on the costa at three-fourths. The hindwings are blackish-fuscous.[3]
